The bear crawl is a huge popular full body exercise which has generated fame within the more primal movement pattern community. It is a good physical test of multiple joints, stability systems and can be metabolically demanding, depending on how you choose to execute the it. We tend to use it within HIIT or Tabata programming as a higher stress upper body exercise, naturally keeping your heart rate high and therefore fitting the criteria for this type of session.
